Class Descriptions Group Active – Activate Your Life in only one hour! Feeling fitter, stronger and more alive has never been more achievable or more enjoyable! Incorporating all elements of fitness, Group Active will increase your cardio fitness, build your strength and improve your balance and flexibility. All in a supportive group environment, with motivating music and caring instructors. Get more out of life, Get Active! Group Power – Group Power is your hour of power! This 60 minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. With simple, athletic movements such as squats, lunges, presses and curls, Group Power is for all ages and fitness levels. Discover results, discover Group Power! Group Core - Let’s get Hard Core! Train like an athlete in 30 action-packed minutes. A strong core, from your shoulders to your hips, will improve your athletic performance, will help prevent back pain and give you ripped abs! Expert coaching and motivating music will guide you through functional and integrated exercises using your body weight, weight plates, a towel and a platform - all to challenge you like never before. Reach Your Peak with Group Core! Group Step - Discover new heights with Group Step®! Utilizing the step in many positions and heights, this compelling 60 minute cardio program strengthens and shapes the lower body one step at a time. Energetic music and motivating instructors create this spunky group experience. Step this way with Group Step. Group Kick – Group Kick® brings it on! This electric 60 minute fusion class of martial arts and boxing movements will kick your cardio fitness to the next level while defining and shaping your body and self confidence! Energetic music, awesome instructors and a group environment will keep you punching, kicking and smiling! Group Kick will knock you out! Zumba - Dance to energetic Latin inspired music. An amazing cardio workout! Group Ride - Everyone finishes first in Group Ride®! Pedal in groups, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. This 60 minute cycling program is geared for anyone that can ride a bike. Motivating music, awesome instructors and an inspiring group environment lets you Ride On! Freestyle Cycling – Reserve your bike up to 2 days in advance. Enjoy the experience of cycling indoors with an instructor led group. All classes are open to participants 13 to adult. Each participant is in control of the intensity of his or her ride. Cycling Express– 35 minute express group cycling class. ABC – Abs, Butts and Cycling. No explanation required! Cardio and core combine for a great workout. Group Centergy - Redefine your self with Group Centergy®. Grow longer and stronger as you explore this 60 minute journey of yoga and Pilates movements. Positive uplifting music, group dynamics and supportive instructors will enable you to center your energy, reduce stress and even smile. Discover Group Centergy! Yoga Fitness - A challenging flow of yoga poses created and linked by breath. This class will build strength and endurance while improving posture, balance and flexibility. Open your body, listen to your heart, take a deep breath and smile. Gentle Flow Yoga - For those who are beginners or anyone getting back into yoga. The style taught is theIyendar Method which emphasizes the fundamentals and foundations of yoga for a safe and educational experience. Body Smart Yoga Stretch – Yoga posture, flexibility, and strengthening with mindful attention to maintaining balance and symmetry of the entire body. Specific attention provided to individuals healing from muscle or joint injury. Learn to discern if a sensation say “back-off” or “push me further”. SilverSneakers “Muscular Strength and Range of Movement” - Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support. Functional Senior Fitness - Move it and improve it with functional fitness for seniors. Focus on your cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, coordination and strength. Shake off the rust and oil those parts for a healthier new year. This class will require getting down and up from the floor. Bring water, wear some sort of tennis shoe and comfy clothes. New beginning Jan. 9th. AquaFit is the perfect water workout for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Aqua Fit includes cardiovascular conditioning, resistance training, balance and flexibility exercise. Achieve fitness without soreness or injury that might slow you down. Lap Swimming - Focused on stroke work and cardio, designed for the swimmer who feels comfortable in the water yet is hoping to become more capable and extend his or her workout.
Shotokan Karate – Classes in the Shotokan style for adults and kids. Emphasis on the development of the individual and the appreciation of the art of Karate.
